Tail Lights

97 f 150 Taillights wont work, brake, blinkers and rev lights are fine. Bulbs are good as are fuses. Anyone had this happen or have any ideas tips to troubleshoot. Should i mess with it or bring it to the shop?

I would say it could be a head light switch, turn signal switch or a wiring concern.

Do the dash lights come on?

Check the fuses under the hood

Do the front marker lamps light? If so, I have only seen broken/corroded wires in the rear cause this the few times I've had this concern.

You will need a scematic and start tracing the circuit to find and repair the open or overlay it.
