The ruins of a once spectacular Roman Catholic built church is all that remains these days. It's true name is the Basilica de Notre Dame. (The term Notre Dame is of coarse French meaning "Our Lady")

This once great architechtural marvel was completely gutted by a horrendous fire approixmately 35 years ago. What remains still adds to and enhances Winnipeg's skyline.
