Perky yanked too early?

Watching the game yesterday I thought we were going to snap out of it.

Perky pitched well and we had a three run lead. In fact he had pitched 80 pitches the first four then only six pitches the next inning and the Twins yanked him. I would have considered keeping him in there in the sixth.

I M sure Gardy had his reasons -- righties coming up or something -- maybe because Swisher hit a dong off of him earlier. I guess we all know what he did to Crain.

It is easy to play Monday Morning B, but I would have left him in for the sixth.

Well, it wasn't Crain's performance that sunk us. The usually very good Matt Guerrier came in and couldn't buy an out. Oh well, that's how it goes sometime.

yeah i like leaving the starter in until he gets in trouble. Let him finish some innings, see what happens. I definately wouldn't critise if he leaves him in for one too many batters but there are defiantely people that want it both ways.
