Three way refrigerator

I've got a Dometic three way refrigerator in my 98 Starcraft pop-up. There was a recall on some models but mine was not one. Last year I noticed that it was not cooling as well as it had been in the past. I checked the back of the fridge and noticed a slight kink in the metal tube that is surrounded by the fins. There has been no trauma to this area. Is this suppose to be there? Any help appreciated.

We had a 98 and I'd say that the fridge was pretty much a disappointment. It took a long time to cool with electric but was a lot better on gas. I can't remember anything specific about what it looked like from the back so i can't be much help. I have a generic small fridge in the basement and it works far better than the one in the camper.

dometic had a recall on the bigger refrigs for a fire hazard,

those would be like RM 2652 and up. the kink or is it a dent

in the tube? does it cool better on gas then 110? RV fridges

take a long time to cool as you probly know.
