6 horse johnson head

I just stripped the threds out on my johnson for the spark plugs. I would woundering if anyone can tell me where I can find a tare down parts list for this motor. ITs a 1978 johnson and the model # is "cd-23e". Thanks

Why not use a HeliCoil repair?? If ya dont know of HeliCoil Google it.

yes i thought of that at 1st but sometimes hey back out when you change the plugs. I just called a bone yard and they have a head for $20 and can ship it next day. And the hielcoil (sp) is around $40. so either way its alomost a horse a peice
