Where is one on a 98 Suburban and how hard is it to change?

I believe it is part of the wiper motor. If that is what you are talking about, they arent to hard to replace, under an hour!

Yes, there are I believe 3 torx head screws on the plate on the front of the assenbly. First unplug the connector, remove the screws, slide out the circuit board. Install the new one, put in the screws and plug it in. If it takes more than 10 minutes you are loafing!

I believe they recommend putting a thin bead of silicone gasket on the cover before installing it too.

I have changed that unit three times and it is fairly simple. many people have had issues with that motors board. I simply replaced the whole wiper motor as it was not much more in money.

Ten minutes was a good estimate. Course I drop a screw and spend 20 minutes trying to find it.
