Any luck on the opener???

I was just wondering if anybody had any luck on the opener this year. Me and my group headed up to Crosby to fish some trout pits near there and we did great the first day we all got our limet in about two, than the next day we gave all those fish to my uncle and went out again and caught twelve four hours. But i think the problem was that we went out a little later the normal. We tried walley on rabbit lake and didn't catch anything so we ended up catching trout the whole weekend.

What is the possession limit on trout?

I had an OK opener but I was the exception to our group of 12. One of the slower openers for us - Big Sandy

5 is the limit on trout fishman.

We fished the Crosby area as well. Spent Saturday on walleye and managed a limit each (3 of us) then Sunday was trout. I pulled a limit and my brother and my fishin' buddy both got 2 a piece.

Fished Monday as well for walleye and managed 2 keepers and 3 small ones. Not stellar by any means, we fished from 5am Saturday till 10pm that night for the limits of eyes. A lot of hours for so few fish. But dang we had fun! Rain soaked fun!
