Canoeing instruction

This winter some people seemed interested in some canoeing pointers and instruction.

Well the time has come. Two close friends want me to do a canoeing instructional evening. I doing a small informal canoeing instructional event some night.

I will be sharing my canoeing knowledge from my nearly 10 year experience in canoeing the big water and small unnamed waters. I will cover strokes, boat handling, rescues and other techniques for paddling all waters.

It will probably be on a small Burnsville or Eagan Lake. It will be a week night within the next two weeks @ 6pm. If your interested just post below to let me know.

Quetico, this sounds like a great opportunity. I may be able to make it. I have school for two more weeks so the evening will dictate if I'm there. I'd love to be there.

Ok we set a date for this event. The details are as follows. Everyone is welcome. Please let me know who all plans on being out there.

When: Wednesday, May 28th 6:30 pm

Where: Blackhawk Lake Park in Eagan

Meet: By the bridge, look for the green Old Town

What to bring: nothing, paddle and life jacket if you want.

I will make sure everyone gets out in my canoe for a bit depending on how many people we have.
