Sandmannd
I've seen it posted a few times now. Are there minnkotas with sonar built in and how do you know if your's has it? What is it actually, do you just hook up depth finder to it and you're ready to go?
Dale Rueber
If you look at the bottom of the motor you should see the transducer. The will also be a cable coming the top of the motor to connect the transducer to the sonar but you have to have the correct adapter cable. The Hammer
On Minn Kota's newer models with the built in transducer you cant see the transducer it is built right in. There should be a cable that runs out that you can connect your graph to the trolling motor you just have to get the right adapter at a sporting goods store. If you don't have it built in you can take it in and have it done. The parts alone are over $300.00. Just look for the "Universal Sonar" marking or US2 now that they're on the 2nd revision of the system. Just supply power to the graph and plug in the sonar cable that comes from the trolling motor. No more messy wires running down the TM shaft.
