Crystal Lake : Wascott

What can anybody tell me about this lake? I'll be there in August.

pretty uniform, not many breaks or much structure, very clear with lots of weeds- bluegills, crappies, northerns and bass all on the smallish side

Thank You! I've asked this question several times since about January and only got this one response. I'll be staying right on the lake. Which other lake do you suggest I go to for some walleyes, smallies, pike and crappies are all good? I would love to get a meal out of a day of fishing.

What are some other area lakes close by where a we could take the wives and catch some fish? My wife would prefer walley and northern for the table. Just an easy lake for someone whose never been on it.

How is this lake in the winter? I'd love to fish hard water in a different area.

Theres also Cranberry, Pearson, Minong flowage and Bond that are close by. Walleyes can be tough to catch this time of year but you should be able to find plenty of northerns, bass and pannies.
