is there any other wave wacker companys out there that have a good system or is wave wacker the best to go with

Wavewackers make a great product, Whitecaps are nice as well, and are a bit cheaper than Wave Wackers.

For the do it yourselfers I built my own a couple years ago. I went to the local glass store and bought a leftover piece of Plexiglass for like 25 bucks. Cut out my two sides on the scroll saw. Bought a couple angle iron brackets. bent them to form an angle. Bolted them to the boat. Found an old truck mudflap and cut it up for around the trolling motor and big motor. Total cost was under 40 bucks. Works great and looks pretty Good. Also kind of fun to built.....
