Eastwind
A friend of mine fished Reindeer Lake 25 years ago and they caught and saw many many huge Northerns. They went in mid June. I fished Wollaston Lake, just West of Reindeer, eight years ago in mid June. We had the same experience, lots of big Northerns. We also did well on Lakers the one day we fished them. These lakes are at the North extreme for sustaining good Walleye populations so don't go there to catch Walleyes. Bring good bug repellent, a bug hat, warm clothes and a good variety of Northern and laker lures. Spoons, spinners, crankbaits etc. Even though the Northerns tend to be large, you do not need all huge baits. Bring a variety of baits and sizes. Hope this info is helpful.
