Maze1162
I found a disposable Carbon monoxide and dioxide sensor that can be hung or affixed to your portable or house. Great for protecting you against fumes from your heater!!! Check your local hardware stores!!!! Maze
Marmot
We have had a carbon monoxide/smoke detector installed for several years. A new 9v battery is in hand and will be installed before spending the first night it in this winter.Marmot
Mr55371
What do those detectors go for....?
bigminnow
You can pick up the electronic Alert ones for 20 - 30 bucks at Menards, watch for weekly sales. The Card variety wich is where the dot turns a differnt color isn't recomended if you are sleeping... it has no audio alarm... hence it costs aprox $4 @ Ace Hardware. Mr55371
Could I take my wife along and just have her stay up to watch the card...? I'd much rather spend the extra money on bait and tackle.

Question for those who have the battery powered ones, is there one out there that gives the # of ppm in a little screen, when running on bat? I seen a couple that ran off battery, that had this option, but for some reason I was really wondering if it worked on battery (you could also plug this one in) I guess my thoughts being, I'd rather see the level be comming up than suddenly informed by the alarm.
