Saw and talked to an old timer who went out ice fishing on Centerville yesterday Monday around 9 AM. Dark ice was up to the shore on north end by Waterworks but the west side by Anoka park access was out 10 to 12 feet. Watched fisherman walk all the way across the lake to the point on south of lake. I told him to be very careful and that I didn't want to read about him in the paper. Both park access ramps are heaved up about 3 feet and will have to be fixed before a boat can be launched there.

I will wait a couple weeks for open water. I figure no fish is worth my life.
