What a way to spend the day......

My wife and I and 3 year old spent this afternoon fishing sunnies at a pond near our house. It's loaded with little sunnies and some big bass. He had a 5-6 pounder inhale a little bluegill as he was reeling it in...it was funny because he was using his little Shrek pole. Good Stuff. (the bass eventually let go of the sunny)

My little boy has a Shrek pole too. Can't wait for some warmer days and open water to get him out in the boat.

Looks like you guys had a great time. Maybe next time you can throw a 1/4 oz spinner bait on his line and let him tangle with the nice bass on ol Shrek.
