Garcia Record 50 series

I was at the sportsshow and looking to pick up a little faster reel, kind of had my eye on the record, but it's a 5 to 1, or so i thought. Turns out the 50 series is a 6.3 to 1, but it's a size smaller than I'm used to. Anyone have this reel? Likes/dislikes? line capacity concerns me a little too. Anyone have a better alternative in a 6 to 1?

I have the 51 which is left hand crank. I like it, have no problems at all, hopefully keep it that way.

Im not sure but I think that the Record 60HC (High Capacity) has higher gear ratio than the regular Record 60...

Rebel; nope, I just checked the specs and the HC adds 100 yds of line capacity but keeps the 5.3 ratio. Unfortunatly.

I have the Record 60 and it's pretty decent with the bigger crank. Been through several of the 5600C's and 6600D's in the past though. They've never held up well for me, just don't seem to be built for hard musky use. The Record so far has held up, though I did have to replace the brass gear after cranking DC10's al summer. Teeth wore down just enough that it wouldn't kick out the free-spool connector all the way.
