Mercury Prop

looking for advice on stainless vs aluminum prop. Just trying to figure out if a 10.75x 12 pitch (40hp 4 stroke merc)is going to perform any better than aluminum. any adivice would be appreciated.

With a "small" motor like a 40, I don't think there's going to be much or any benefit by going to stainless. I think you need a 90 / 15 or bigger to really notice the benefits of stainless.

I agree with Perchjerker... you're not going to get a ton of performance increase, or increase you'll notice anyway, with a stainless vs aluminum.
