Royce Aardahl
I'm just looking for an inexpensive software to put on my laptop. How is this one? Thanks
mountaindew
Can't say anything. I've never used it. I use Photoshop. I'm sure others will reply about it. But I've heard it's pretty good.
MN Shutterbug
Actually, I use PSE 3, and am quite happy with it. I have found no reason to spend the big bucks. It does everything I need it to.
Royce Aardahl
Thanks! I'm new to these programs so I don't know what's out there. Looks like I can get 3 for 40 bucks online.
Dbl
Elements is really Photoshop lite. I has many of the features of Photoshop with out the expense. It is missing some features that an advanced user may want to have but it is a very good product especially at that price.
chief
Eyeguy,Unless you're performing very sophisticated post processing functions (E.G. lots of work in "layers") PS Elements 6 is all you'll probably ever need. It's very easy to work with, and this version has enhanced work-flow capabilities (this is nice for organizing, storing, labelling, and retrieving large numbers of photos). PS Elements, in any version from here on out, can easily take you as far as you'll ever want to go.
