Musky opener with my parents....

Hi everyone - I'm relatively new here, and am appreciative of the knowledge of everyone writing. I would value anyone's input to my problem. I am treating my parents, both in their 70's, and my son to a week vacation on Lake Andrusia. We will be there June 2-9. My problem is, musky opener is the 7th. Will EVERY boat in Minnesota be out there? We're really more walleye and bass fishermen/women. I don't want to be in a crowded mess with a bunch of knuckleheads. Can we pretty much kiss our fishing goodbye? Was my timing unfortunate? I "treated" them to a trip to Canada last year - temps AVERAGED 97 degrees, no A/C, very few fish, and it was miserable. I don't want them to drop me from the will....
