Where can I dispose of an old fiberglass boat?

Hello all. Looking to get rid of my first boat. Its a '56 fiberglass in poor shape. Anyone know of a junkyard type place around the cities? (North Metro preferred). Not looking to get any money for it, just a place to drop it off.

There is a boat junkyard on 65 just north of Ham Lake. I think it's called Benny's. He may take it off your hands if the trailer is usable.

I would see what the light fixtures and rigging is worth before you dump it.

Some older rigs have fixtures that bring big bucks on the net.

Local landfill charges just regular garbage, they go by pound, so you might want to strip it good, if there's anything salvageable.

I dumped an 18 foot fiberglass boat at the landfill in Burnsville/Savage last summer for about $70. I had to pull it up on top of the pile (nice smell) and they helped me push it off the trailer with a 'dozer. They then drove the 'dozer over it to crush it flat. Pretty impressive sight. The boat held up until he was about 25% over it before it gave.
