Bjjams
You might want to look into a boot puller, but it might be too tight to get under the boot. They seem to kind of suction on the plug making it near impossible to take off without breaking it. Pull straight up and twist and try not to put stress on the 90 because that’s usually where it will break. You might want to call the Honda dealer, they might have some helpful tips. When you do get it off put a boatload of dielectric grease in the boot to make it easier for next time.
Dave S
Dielectric grease is exactly what I was thinking.
mozy
I had the same problem with my '03 and actually ended up breaking the boot. I ended up putting dielectric grease on it and it helped, but was still a pain to get off. Just be careful and take your time when you do it.
