Champion 4000 /3500 Generator

I just got back from Cabela's to pick up something else but they had a sale and these generators for $279 vs $399 regular. They only had a couple left so I figured I couldn't go wrong. Has anyone ever used this brand?

I bought one two years ago. I use it for ice fishing, but I put it in the back of my four wheeler and use a 50' extention cord to get it away from the house. Sitting inside, I have to listen to see it is running. I have a friend with a Honda and I can't tell a difference in sound when you move it away from the house. There is a noticable difference in weight, though. I have used it in the summer for power tools and it works fine for all but the biggest draw tools. I wouldn't hesitate to do it again.
