Just wanted to say thanks to Chris Walls from Wall's Calls for his donation to our local NWTF banquet. Chris made matching Leopardwood Slate/Glass Friction Calls with an Ebony and Carbon striker in a custom-made Mohagany box for our live auction. Along with the package were a matching locator call set owl/crow, also in Leopardwood, with Rosewood inlay along the borders. All were absolutely beautiful, and drew almost $300 for the whole set!

I wish I had pictures, though they would not do the set justice. That ebony on slate over Leopardwood really caught the attention of the winning bidder I later found out.

Chris has donated to our Turkey Contest in the past, and is an active member in our turkey forum. Someday I'm sure we'll see his work winning national call-making contests, and I'll be saying, "you heard it here first folks!"

It was a pleasure to see you again. The banquet was a blast. Great food, good drinks, and great people to talk to. Already looking forward to next year. How do your new GUNS shoot, Mr. Lucky. Not one gun but two guns he won. Maybe if your luck keeps up one of them monsters you showed me on the way to town will fall to your arrow. I snapped these pics in the truck right before the banquet so they arn't very good.
