Ely Area Crappie

Head out to Bass lake North of Ely. It's a long walk in but I think you can sled back there if you've got one. Anyways, the East end of the lake is fairly popular. There is also another spot in about 27' of water where they suspend about 6' up.

This was a few years ago when I attended Vermilion, but they were there consistently every time out. You won't find a whole lot of size, but you'll catch them all day long if you want.

As for other spots, I cant give my specifics but the White Iron chain has some real slabs!
