High Speed Bearings

I have heard that using spindels and bearing from junked farm machinery is a no,no when building a wheeled house trailer.

Supposely the bearing from combines and other farm equipment are not suited for high speed highway use.

Is there any truth to this??

My dad and I modified a 23' camper to have hydraulic lift. We used spindels off of a john deere disc and no problems at 65mph. Most of our trips arent over 30 miles but the dont warm up at all.

My bet is they would be fine. When you buy bearings for farm hubs they give you the same bearings as anything else. I bet they would be fine.
