Bob/Mn
I have heard that using spindels and bearing from junked farm machinery is a no,no when building a wheeled house trailer. Supposely the bearing from combines and other farm equipment are not suited for high speed highway use. Is there any truth to this??

0 Devin
My dad and I modified a 23' camper to have hydraulic lift. We used spindels off of a john deere disc and no problems at 65mph. Most of our trips arent over 30 miles but the dont warm up at all.
0 Dozer
My bet is they would be fine. When you buy bearings for farm hubs they give you the same bearings as anything else. I bet they would be fine.
