I have a 1990 90 hp Johnson VRO and have been running amsoil in it for about a year (maybe 4 tanks of fuel) would it hurt to switch back to OMC oil? I don't feel any major difference since using it except for the price.

Is this engine a 2/4cycle. I put Amsoil in my old 18hp from the 70's because I just wanted to try it. I could definitely tell the difference when trolling at low idle. The engine responded better out of the gun and pushed my boat a little faster too.
