Sportfish 175, Best top for the $$

I have a 2001 175 sportfish. I fish in cold windy and rainy weather alot, I am looking to get cover. I know that Canvas craft can do tops, I am woundering if there is any other way. The bimmi tops look great for sun, but I want something for the elements. Any idea how much this might cost? I would also like to be able to stand up in there. Any place I may be able to find a used one that will fit? Thank you..

You're going to have a tough time finding some place that has a used one for a boat that's 7 years old, plus, depending on how tall you are one that you can stand up in and is used.

I would talk to Canvas Craft, or any other boat tarp manufacturer and explain to them what you're after and see if they could make you something that would be exactly what you want.

It will cost more, but you'll likely be happier with the end product.

I know that Crystal Pierz has the capability to make their own canvas - maybe they'd be interested in putting something together for you.

Hey, thanks for the reply. I am actually very short in stature, my friends though , not-so-much. I did talk to canvas craft, they said probably aroud 2 1/2k or more. Would I be better off try-ing to make one my self? Maybe by a good bimmi top and adding the canvas and snaps? has anyone tried this? I do have canvas needles and such.

Well, price wise you will very likely be better off doing it yourself, plus you'll be able to get what you want since you'll be the one making it.

Will you be happy with the product is the question.
