concrete flaking. what to do about it?

Hey guys, the concrete in my garage is starting to kind of peel and flake off under my vehicle. I am pretty sure it is caused by all the salt dropping off my car, and I think the actual term for it is "spalling". Is there something I can do this spring/summer to prevent this from happening next winter? I am not real interested in putting down the epoxy coating on the floor as I think it is way to slippery. would just a concrete sealer solve this problem? At the rate it is chipping off I am going to have a big problem in a few more years. Oh yeah, the floor is 15 years old and it has just become a noticeable problem in the last couple of years and particularly bad this year. Thanks for any advice

Freeze thaw cycles. Lots of discussion about a proper mix and finish but thats too late and out of your control now.

A breathable sealer would have helped. There are patches on the market that you can use. In the end I think your going to have to go with an impermeable top coat like epoxy to protect the patch.
