Pully system to hang shack in garage

I'm wanting to create a pully system to hang my otter medium from the rafters in the garage. Has anybody done this or something similar that can steer me in the right direction?

Thanks for your help.

Hey bender. Tried the four pulley system and it's a pain. However, new idea I'm working on myself. Picture if you will a piece of ply slightly larger than the footprint of your shack. On one side build a lip slightly lower than the side of your tub the length of the ply. The non-lipped side, hinge to the stud wall of your garage slightly over the height of your tub and cover folded combined from the ceiling rafters. Now, two pulleys at the width and length of the ply (again slightly over) into the rafters. Rope attached to each corner and through the pulleys. (Sort of like a book folding into the ceiling) When in the down position, set the shack sideways on the lip, then raise with the pulleys level up to the rafters. Ya follow me? Haven't worked out any bugs yet but it seems like it work slick.

Chunky, sounds kind of neat, unfortunately I have no room on the sides of my garage. I've got bikes, shelves, rakes, shovels, kids's toys,.... and the only spot that isn't used to it's maximum capacity is the center of the ceiling. Any other suggestions??

Thanks!

I used the three wheel pully and it worked great on the Fish Trap II easy to lift and it put the trap 3" from the ceiling on the garage above the snowmobile trailer.( Unused space for the taking.) I tried a two wheel pulley, and it made it work to set to the top position. My two cents but ceiling space is free for the taking.

Rod Bender, I used eyebolts on each corner. The towbar was set up to use the front two when you pulled it with the machine so I just added two in the back.
As far as lifting all I did was splice a second line to both the front and rear and you only need to pull one up at a time. I did put two cleats (for tying off) that were anchored to the wall and it will keep the mice out during the off season.
Good Luck!
