boat seat 'ride enhancers'

Does anyone have any experience with the 'Glyde Ryde' or 'Smooth Move' seat accesories?

My dad is looking to buy one for the Ranger he bought last year.

Will they support 350 lbs?

I have never used one but have heard great things about them, especially the glyde ryde.

I have one and use it on Upper Red, great back saver. I weigh 220 and have not had any trouble (and I beat the heck out of my boat.)

I have the Smooth Move and it's great. Had to buy a second one so my passenger would be comfortable in rough water too. 350 lb. passenger was no problem, just crank it up. If you can afford it, just do it, they're great. Stan C.

Not as strong or "super" as some of theothers, but does anyone know a place aroudn the Twin Cities that might carry "Heavy Duty Mainstay Shorty" pedestals? I think they are standard on some Rangers. They are sort of like a poor mans or smaller footprint style of ride enhancer. But still like $250-$300 for the pedestal... Thanks if you know. I only know of a place in MI.
