1977 Evinrude 15 hp Carb work??

How tough is it to clean the carbs on a 15 Evinrude.

I did my first rebuild on my Mikuni 34's on my XLT this winter. That was a piece of cake.

I have removed all the choke parts and airbox before...but never tore into the carb. I am pretty sure it needs a little work.

Rebuilding the carb itself is quite easy. Be sure to buy a repair kit. Removing and reinstalling can be a bit tricky for someone who has never done it.

If you have some mechancial aptitude and take your time to figure out how everything comes apart you probably can handle the rebuild.
