I don't know that I understand your question.

To camp in the BWCA you need a permit. If camp between May 1st and Sept. 30th you need to get the permit from an issuing station and it is $16 a person. Outside of those dates you fill out a permit at your entry point and there is no charge. If you choose to make reservations there is a small reservation fee for doing it online.

You can hike in on BWCA hiking trails or you can choose to paddle. That of course requires a boat and if you can't beg, borrow or steal one, then you will need to rent one and that typically runs $30-40 a day.

Once you're in the BWCA there are no other fees. You can camp anywhere there is a designated campsite.

For camping areas, check out maps by either Fisher or McKenzie. I prefer the McKenzie maps because they are easier on the eyes and they are larger scale. There are books at the library that can help you pick an entry point or feel free to ask here. I could suggest some routes for about any skill level.

If you have all the gear you need, the trip really only costs $16 more than any other camping trip you might be planning and thats no more than the price of one night at a state park, except you can stay in the BWCA for several weeks....all for $16.

Welcome to Fishing MN!!
