I never have a problem with regular shad raps though. What happens is that they always get the line twisted around both treble hooks and skip on the top of the water. PerchJerker Posted February 7, 2008 Share Posted February 7, 2008 I use glass shads quite a bit, I like them but they can be a bugger to tune and to get to run right. I think I've had a couple of them that I've given up on completely. But they catch fish when they run right.There's one lake I fish quite a bit (including tournaments every year) where we do really well casting glass shads in shallow, rocky water.
