OK they do have that giant rod holder/tackle box/case, but i would like a case for just the flasher.

I don't know where you live, but we stock the soft cases at our store.

The rattling bothers me a little ..

My VX-1 took a sled dump going fast when with the guy I was fishing with steered into to tight of a right turn at speed. and what the fall did was loosen the bottom of the gimbal base plate. I replaced hardware added rubber bushings as well and it took a majority if not all of the vibraton out of it. I can't believe the only that that was not right was the scratched handle, amazing..

Hey Dingy... find me one of these cases and bring it with you this weekend. Remember the gear I hand delivered to you down in Mississippi? Return the fav.......Serenity now!

For the life of me I cannot find a place to buy one of those cases online???? I live in NE WI and cannot find a dealer that carries those. With all the VX-1's I have seen go out the door of my local sporting goods stores I can't belive they don't stock soft cases for them. Either my local stores or MarCum is missing out on some accessory sales.

I would post a link to the soft case online but i think it is against forum policy.... anyway you can go online to redrockstore or you can also get them at gander and many other stores. I think the average price is around 15 dollars and i have been very happy with mine
