Caliper Lake

Anyone know the ice/slush conditions on Caliper Lake? Thinking of making a trip up there for some pike fishing in a couple weeks and was wondering what conditions are like.

Also, does anyone put out a decent map of the lake? We might have it on one of our many Canadian maps but I haven't noticed yet.

I would presume that the ice conditions are similiar to other lakes near nestor falls and they are all around 14" of ice with a little snow cover that has been packed by the wind. Great conditions for getting around and fishing. I dont think there is a chart map of the lake, maybe just some cheapos that dont show much.

It seems to me, there is a map avaialble at Nestor Falls Bait. I have seen one and I think it was there. If not, check at the lodge.

Nestor Falls bait does have one. I checked the other day but the quality isnt that great because Caliper hasnt be charted by the MNR so they dont have a high quality depth chart. It will give you an idea of the area you are fishing but as for points and structure it is rather rough.
