Auger running question

I have a Strikmaster Lazer Mag 2 HP 8" that is about 7 years old that needs work. It runs and has good compression when cold but when it gets warm it runs out of power and really won't run well at all. I'm guessing it needs a carb job or could it just adjusting the set screws? any thoughts?

You could start with the screws, but I would bet the carb needs a kit. It is only about $10 and quite simple to do.

New spark plug, check fuel line connections, adjust carb, clean carb and new carb kit.
