He was a good friend, musician and fellow Chef!

My Grandparents had a couple old sayings, Wakes are for the living and you shouldn't cry for those who've passed as they have gone to a better place. Instead you should cry at the birth of a child for you now what hardships they are yet to face.

My Dad broke the Italian tradition of wearing black. he always wore brighter colors and said it was a celebration of the person's life and to celebrate their joy of being with Christ.

I hope this helps you some. We are all better for knowing those who have passed on and left us better people for their love.
