spudhauler
Anyone have any inputs or experience with fisher boats. I know they are not in the same category/class as MN's big three manufacturers. But any good or bad experiences overall? Are they owned by or produced the same as Tracker boats? Thanks
primetime49
same family group as Trackerthey build in that group more boats than our 3 aluminum companies combined and throw in most of the rest of nations brands to reach the total number of boats they build.down south they havent recognized our brands except Alumacraft Regional boats maybe get good marketing in about half the country when producedSomehow Tracker is marketed nationwideYou get what you pay for and there are good and bad stories to go with each brandFisher is a fair quality boat not great and only markets 10% of trackers numbers
Snowking
i have one its a 2001 16 footer it under powered but thats my fault. i really like the boat. i've had some problems with it. the first was the dang dealer went out of business 2 weeks after i got it. number 2 was the paint came off the bow about a month after that and then 2 years ago i split a weld on the bottom. i dealt with tracker myself. and while it took longer to get it fixed. they did cover the piant and the reweld. so im 1 in a million! im a happy tracker customer. bassphish2005
I run a Nitro[insert your joke here] But I have ran it on Mille Lacs,Leech and pounded it through 5 foot waves and have -NEVER- had one problem.Don't always throw the 'cheap' boats off the bridge before you investigate them further,I would buy a Nitro again, even though I could afford a more 'pricey' brand.Just thought I would and my 2 cents.
