Russ&Judy Posted June 20, 2003 Share Posted June 20, 2003 we are considering getting our rental fish houses equiped ,with portapots in them for Upper Red Lake, has any one used one in the winter? any input is welcomed, were tierd of the toilet seat and double lined bags on a 6 gallon pail; we have never had a portapot before , what are we suppose to look for, and what to expect, gallons of waste, etc??its a dirty job but someone has to do!!! End of the Line Posted June 20, 2003 Share Posted June 20, 2003 I had one in my ice house. You have to be alot more careful when removing the tray. Went back to the using a wood box around the pail with a toilet seat on it. Just easier to clean.
