grindstone fishing

Has anybody been to Grindstone to fish the Rainbow or Lakers?

Went on opener. Caught a few rainbows

went sunday for a little while weekend two rainbow's kinda sucked the auger wouldn't start up so we were stuck with the first two holes we drilled

Were you fishing in 10fow?

Did you drive out from the access? How thick is the ice.

atleast 2 feet of ice. That is as of this past Sunday Morning

yea grindstone had about 2 feet of ice and trout were very finicky. we caught them in about 7 foot of water

We were out there today and it was just like Mille Lacs. Dead Sea.

I didn't see anything on the camera or Marcum and we were out from 11:30 to 3.

We when out at 6:00am on Sat and missed 8 fish in the first half hour then missed a few more before we packed up at 10:00am with no fish. We were in about 18 fow and fishing 2' below the ice. I'm thinking this coming weekend I'm going to use waxies and I might hook a few of those misses. Nice fish Znistler it would be nice to have a few more of them to make a meal.
