Strikemaster Customer Service - Legendary

I just could not let this go by without a mention in a public forum. I recently purchased the 7 inch Electra Lazer from Sportsman's Warehouse, very impressed with it, I can drill 20-25 holes thru 12 inch ice before the charge gets to the yellow indicator LED "Keep Drillin.'" (I'm guessing that means 50-60% of battery life.) Anyway, I was out on Saturday, trying to open up an old hole of mine on a spot where I caught a nice sized brookie before, and when pulling the auger up through the hole, the handle snapped right at the lower left base. Probably my fault, I know the Lazers aren't really meant for opening old holes. I emailed StrikeMaster late Sunday night, got a response yesterday morning, and a replacement handle was delivered by local courier TODAY. No cost, free of charge, no questions asked.

One doesn't find that kind of customer service often, and it deserves a mention. I went with StrikeMaster in the first place because I believe in spending my hard earned dollars for a quality product made by a local Minnesota company & not some company in Wisconsin or Vermont, but also because of the word of mouth regarding their legendary customer service. Color me impressed, and call me a believer.

That's aswome! I haven't had the opportunity to use Jiffy's customer service in the 15 years I have owned them but I hope they are as good as SM.........
