Biting Flies Repellent?

I know this is the wrong time of year to worry about this, but does anyone know of any sprays or concoctions that actually work to repel those pesky biting flies. My arms still hurt when I think about our fishing trip last year.

Horse flies? I think you are out of luck. Those things will bite through anything, including thin clothing. I will put a plug in for "Ben's". It is in a small orange colored spray bottle. Available at Scheels. Lots of deet. Good stuff.
