FishyScent
My kids want to head up to the cabin on Johnson Lake just north of Webster. I am hearing alot of reports of slush and bad ice. Anyone know first hand what the scoop is on the Webster area lakes??Thanks
mpester
I was fishing in the Siren area from Saturday - Tuesday. The slush was bad for the first few days but was much better by Tuesday. Areas that had been packed, plowed or traveled were good the whole long weekend. Monday night it got to -10 in the Siren area so that seems to have taken care of a lot of the slush. Full sized trucks were driving on Clam Lake this weekend but the ice in the area was not thick enough for me to drive out. I walked and fished other lakes in the area. The fish were hitting good both day and night for the whole long weekend.
