late freeze up, local issues with people letting their pets roam the tundra, finally get an area set up, 3 days ago. got 7 fox in that time. Last night I had to run a search and rescue mission for a guy who was wolf hunting ALONE and blew up his machine 30 miles from town. LUCKILY he was up high in the hills and got cell phone coverage, AFTER walking 4.5 hours. On the trip up i noticed some "clunking" in my undercarriage. Got up this morning to check everything out and sure enough, lost an undercarriage bolt. not so bad right? well the other one completely wore through the tunnel. NOT good.

Man its been a tough season. We were suppose to go set up for lynx and wolves tomorrow, go figure.
