Taurus-Rear defrost

We have a '03 Taurus and one of the rear defroster "chips" that deforsts the back window has come loose from the window. I don't think taping it on is the answer. Anyone had this issue before and if so, how did you get it to stick back on your window? Thanks, 8-Ball.

Permatex makes a special epoxy just for that purpose. I have used it in the past and it works pretty good. Any auto parts store should be able to order it (it is a specailty item, my store doesn't stock it but I have ordered it at least 5 times). Just make sure when you use it, clean the area very well with an alcohol prep pad to get any grease or grime off.
