Water In Tank

Lotwfisher

Question

This year when doing my seasonal maintence on my sled I noticed water in the carbs. I drained the tank completely last spring but most of got some water in there somehow. I now have a full tank of fuel and isopropyl and I was wondering if there was a way to remove the water without completely syphoning all the fuel out and sponging the tank dry?

Draining the tank is the only good way to get the water out. Don't get too carried away with the Alcohol as it could contribute to burning up the engine. I would strongly urge you to drain the tank and start fresh.
