Powerstroke
Hey Vrod. Welcome to our forums and to FM. Looks like you've made a few posts already. As far as campgrounds, I would look on Explore Minnesota and maybe the MN chamber of Commerce. The best way to narrow it down would be to think about what areas of the state you are interested in visiting. Consider the distance you're willing to travel and any amenities you would want.Another fantastic place to scout out some great resorts and campgrounds is to visit some of the conventions that come to the area. There is a Camping/RV show and the big Northwest Sportsmens show in the spring. They really allow you to see and speak to many resorts, allowing you to compare and compete for good rates. PS, I love your quotes. I'm making a huge assumption that you are a firefighter. I'm a FF/EMT in Eden Prairie.

Thanks well in advance Most privately owned campsites that I have ever been to have seasonal sites. In fact many campgrounds that Used to only have a handfull of seasonal sites are now mostly seasonal sites. It would be easier to pick a few specific ones if you had a general area of the state in mind. Once you pick an area, then decide what kind of ammenities you would like. Do you want a campground that is small, quiet and geared around the fisherman? Or are you looking for more of a family resort that caters more toward kids with activities and all that?I just re-read your initial question and if you are looking for a seasonal campsite that will allow you to use it all 4 seasons, then you might have to look at Mille Lacs.
