Water Softner Help

Looking for some tips...I have a 4 year old locally manufactured water softner that isn't kicking out the soft water anymore. It's a dry system so apparently water doesn't "sit" in the tub. I've checked and cleaned the inlet and outlet ports along with the brine tank floats. Any advice??

Commers, they have a lifetime warranty? Call them they will help you out. My dad just had one put in. It fills the tank 4 hours before turning on. The water does not sit in the tank. They save salt that way.

When I installed mine three years ago there was a blowup for it looked like some kind of head or valve that required periodic cleaning. Can you post the model and make of your softener? Seems to me I read also that crushed salt has a lot more debris then pellets and they tend to plug more.
