Mr. Pike1
Does anyone know what fee the DNR would impose for anyone who fished in a portable shelter and does not have a fish house licence?

mr marbles
I think it is a 50 dollar citation.make sure you remember to get your new license.I think they should change the fish house license to run from nov- through march, so you dont have to buy the shelter license twice in the season. Guest
Mr. Marbles....that's not a good idea as the icefishing season may start earlier or run later than those dates. Besides, your fish-house license runs from March 1st - Feb. 28th(29th in a leap year) the same as your regular fishing license. So, why not buy both at the same time. Guest
Then, they should make the ice house licence run from Step to April. There will be big difference in licensing fee if you don't ice-fish every season. Even if you fish every season, there is always the first year you have to buy 2 licences.
