Geese, where should I look?

Thinking about sneaking out by myself on Thursday in hopes of maybe shooting at a couple of geese. Any thoughts on where a guy should go? Haven't seen anything around?

We've been hunting around the St. Cloud Cold spring area and done fairly well in open water between 3 guys we shot 15 last weekend. Field hunting has done well from what i've heard as well, but it seems the flocks are very sparatic and small so if you can find a good field near any water source you should have a good day.

Yeah, find an area with open water that is holding geese and set up midday in a nearby field. Depending on the number of decoys you have, you can just run traffic on birds this time of the year. That is all we did last weekend and piled up 16 Sat, 16 Sun, for 4 guys.
